BIAFRANS ON THE LOOSE

After the Biafran news broadcaster Mr. Nnamdi Kanu was arrested by the Nigerian government, Biafrans have not been at peace.

For the past few weeks , the eastern states of Nigerian republic have not been at rest specifically at Aba, Abia State Nigeria. Troops of Biafran youths have been parading the streets of aba causing business men and women of Aba to live in fear. Just this morning, everyone who had a shop along Ariaria Zone closed up for fear of being harassed.

Biafran Biography
 The Republic of Biafra (Biafra in Pan-Nigerian Alphabet) was a secessionist state of 1967 to 1970 located in the southeastern part of Nigeria, the richest in oil reserves. The claimed and controlled area at the beginning of the Biafran war was that of the eastern region is 76 364 km 2.
The majority of the territory consists of plains and delta wetlands of the Niger to the west where the oil palm, the rubber and cocoa were cultivated. Deposits of oil were found in the area. Hills, the beginning of the volcanic chain of the line of Cameroon, came to the eastern border with Cameroon and Niger river marks the western border.
